Victoria’s bushfire tragedy

Like so many others, I have spent the last few days in tears and shock at the horrendous bushfires which claimed so many lives and destroyed so much. Like others, I feel compelled to contribute something to try and help these communities rebuild.

Inspired by Kris Leigh Photography in Newcastle and many other photographers around Australia who are donating their session fees to the Bushfire Appeal, I wish to do the same. For those interested in booking a session with Pebbles Photography in February or March, visit the Australian Red Cross website, donate your $150 session fee via the secure online donations form, email me an electronic copy of your receipt and we will organise a time and date for your session. Alternatively, visit the wonderful RSPCA, on the front line of emergency care of animal victims, and contribute your session fee via their donation form. I have a bunch of weekday sessions available and a handful of weekend sessions available. Be sure to email me first to book your date and so I know to expect your receipt.

My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy…

The setting sun was the strangest colour for days afterwards. It was pink. [View from Doncaster taken by my husband Lars].

Thank you so much for sharing in this with me Fran and helping to make it, the beautiful, wonderful, generous thing it has become. XOX
