So alike, yet so different

I find it fascinating how personality seems to be formed even in tiny new babies. These dear little boys had quite distinct personalities - they were definitely not identical in personality, only in looks :). We tried to get them to sleep at the same time for some sleepy photos. That didn’t quite work, but I got some lovely awake shots. Twins are hard work at this age and I am just so full of admiration for these boys’ mother…what an amazing woman! On a post-workshop high

Have you ever had that wonderful feeling that comes from being around a whole bunch of amazing, inspiring people who are passionate about the same thing as you? I’m having it right now!! In fact I think I will continue to have it for some time yet. This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending a photographer’s retreat held by the incredibly talented Barb Uil of JinkyArt. We were spoilt for choice of adorable models in this gorgeous bed & breakfast near Canberra called the Old Stone House. Here are just a few shots from the weekend.

Had the pleasure yesterday of catching up with an old friend who’s just had her third baby, another little girl. How sweet are these three sisters!

Fun family shoot

Another sunny day and another beautiful family to meet and photograph! This family were so cool and very fun to hang around with. Lots of joking around and chatting this session, loved it! This cute little guy is 4 ("and a half!") and he is soon to become a big brother. I was glad to get some lovely shots of him snuggling up with mum and dad before the new baby arrives. Mr. Big

Family photos in the gardens

Here’s a sneak peek for the lovely family who met up with me in the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens for their session on Sunday. It was such a beautiful day and just look at these completely adorable kiddos (not to mention their spunky mum and dad!). Sunny sisters

I had an extremely difficult time let me tell you, choosing a short list for the blog.
