This little guy learnt to walk around two months ago and he’s already pretty fast. I think he walks faster than me. He can also dance. Again, better than me. He was hard to catch, but oh so cute!

Here are some sneak previews for the lovely family I got to photograph today. This little babe and his big brother were such a joy!

My beautiful kids at the beach in Queenscliff yesterday. What a great day we had!

Then we explored the old Queenscliff rail yard in the afternoon light. (Yep, that’s me in the last one! Taken by my husband Lars).

Today I roped a couple of friends into trying out a new location and some new paper backgrounds (thanks Ros and Lou for the lend of your little cuties!). First, we took some photos at an abandoned old brickworks quarry nearby to me. Just adored this location! So beautiful and interesting.

Then we went home to try out some new paper backgrounds that I bought recently. I love how the grey one matches my little subject’s eyes and the wheat colour really suits this cheeky little friend of mine.
Had to try a black and white, just to see!

And here’s one where you can’t even see the paper but I love it.

And not just any girl, but one of the prettiest, sweetest little almost-three year olds I’ve met! I had a wonderful time today on location at the Studley Park Boathouse. Enjoy your sneak peek Eugenie! It was lovely to explore with you both today in this glorious weather.

This little one was just as delightful to cuddle as she is to look at. Look at those beautiful eyes and that scrummy yummy chubbiness! Little Eloise and her almost-three year old brother Ollie were just the sweetest pair for me today. I would have loved to stay for more cuddles and to play trains..and finish that cup of tea!… but couldn’t wait to get home to look at these pics!

Yup, she really is. Princess Olivia lives right next door to us. So, with nothing but rain ahead for the next week, I just had to make the most of the beautiful sunshine today. Ah…sunlight….the photographer’s friend. Love it. Especially when it lights up the strawberry blonde hair of my pretty little neighbour.

I had the honour today of capturing a really beautiful bond between a mother and her new little baby boy. I have to say they were really special together, and boy, did this little guy love his mother’s milk, couldn’t get enough of it! It’s gone straight to his chubby little thighs. :-). Of course, I didn’t mind the feeding breaks as it meant he conked out so deeply asleep that I was able to pose him just the way I wanted. Isn’t he just precious?

Lucky me, I got to photograph the most delicious newborn baby girl today. Little Isabella is only 12 days old. Her mum and dad were great sports and patiently let me try all kinds of new shots. I hope you love your sneak preview guys!

This cute little guy was lightning fast! I got a real workout keeping up with him at our session this morning :-). We tried to get him to sit still for one second but he was far too busy - wouldn’t even do it for jelly snakes (yes, I admit I tried to bribe!). I love this age and my wonderful client Sarah will have lots of candids of her little boy. His beautiful sister on the other hand found me not so scary!
